He just whined and sugar coated his actions, at least GTAV did away with the BS and provided a way better commentary on crime. Hands down one of my least favorite characters in gaming and yeah he was a bad guy too. All he did was whine and make justifications of why he's doing all horrible things he's doing. I don't quite get what you mean by Kudos and Niko was a whining B****. Trevor in fact ends up several times cleaning up after Michael and even saving Michael's life as does Franklin. He's the one that gets us involved with the FIB and the IIA, along with that Drug Lord and the Billionaire. Michael is actually the one who we end up having to clean up after a lot. They harken back to GTA San Andreas and building a criminal empire which get's put on hold when Trevor goes to deal with Michael being still alive. Trevor's segments of GTAV were pretty much my favorite. Even if in the realm of fantasy you are still a criminal and bad guy, something the game points out. Saint's Row has gone more over the top and Zany, but it started out with 1 and 2 as a traditional criminal game with a few over the top and zany things to do. Please feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and add information regarding this last paragraph. I haven't played much of it, so I can't comment on how much it has taken advantage of the posibilities that are present. Omerta : City of Gangsters is the newest gangster strategy game on the market. In the 2nd installment, the game is much more concentrated on the story, with a sandbox/skirmish mode lacking entirely. In the first one, you took control over a gangster gang, and it's in your hands to expand your empire through illegal gambling and racketeering and crush your enemies. In 1998 and 01, Hothouse Creations created 2 strategy games (Gangsters : Organised Crime Gangsters 2 : Vendetta), that cover many of the aspects of gangster/organised crime life. There's also APB Reloaded, an MMO that brings the Criminal vs Police style of alignment, but even that doesn't fully take advantage of the "genre" it's put into (gangster/mafia, not MMO/MMORPG.). Currently, the games that fit this type of play to a certain extent are GTA and Mafia 2, with the latter one heavily focused on the storyline and not so much on the open world. I am pretty sure a lot of you enjoy being a criminal in-game - going on a murder spree, mugging people on the streets, stealing cars and selling them, and other sorts of illegal stuff.
